Colin Clayton is an independent producer, engineer, and mixer based in Boston, MA. Colin spent most of his upbringing in rural Clover, SC. His passion for music was evident from a very young age with him learning piano at age 7, guitar at 11, and several others since.

Colin discoverd his passion for engineering and production in high school, recording demos and turning his bedroom into a home studio. Colin takes an artist-first approach to his productions and always strives to do what’s best for the song. He has spent time building a rapport with bands local to Boston and has credits on records by Smilley, Jules Wade, Georgia Mintz, and Crowded Mind. 

He interned at Mad Oak Studios where he learned the skills and workflow of professional recording/mixing. Colin graduated Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Production and Engineering.
